Mr. Charles Farrington is a Trustee of the Silver Thatch Pensions Plan and currently serves as Deputy Chairman.

Mr. Farrington is the Managing Director of Julius Baer Bank and Trust Company Ltd. in the Cayman Islands. He joined Julius Baer in 1999 as Managing Director. Prior to that, Mr. Farrington spent 18 years at BankAmerica Trust and Banking Corporation (Cayman) Limited where he started as a Trainee Assistant Accountant in 1981 and rose to the position of Managing Director in 1995.

Mr. Farrington graduated from the University of Glasgow in Scotland in 1975 with an Honours degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics. He worked for Cable and Wireless (W.I.) Ltd. for six years before moving into the finance industry. He qualified as a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 1985 and subsequently became a Fellow (FCCA). He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP) and he graduated from the National Trust School and completed the National Graduate Trust School (audit option) of the American Bankers Association in 1994 and 1996 respectively.

Mr. Farrington has also served on a number of public committees including the Council of the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange, the Immigration Board and the Executive Committee of the Cayman Islands Bankers Association.

Mr. Farrington has been a Trustee of the Silver Thatch Pension Plan since inception.
